The battery Giant- Motorola Droid Maxx

Now a days, the main problem for smartphones race is battery life. Big screen, lots of apps, movie, music, surfing, just a hell lots of pressure to smartphones batteries.Gadget makers are facing challenge every day to make the power source more efficient, system friendly and long lasting. but recently Motorola make a big step in this battery life war. They make an android smartphone with all modern technologies as an additional long lasting battery. They named the phone Motorola Droid Maxx.

Motorola comes up with this phone into a new lineup, with active touchless control display and Kevlar fibre body. The phone seems not so slim like Galaxy or HTC or Xperia's champion shaped bodies. A little thick with weighty hardware inside.

The Display of this phone is quite good with same exact big screens of HTC and Galaxy. It has 5 inch display with HD OLED screen with 720p resolution (1,280x720 pixels) but it doesn't pack the same pixel density as the HTC One (4.7-inch, 1080p LCD) or Samsung Galaxy S4 (5-inch, 1080p OLED), its primary competition. That said, the Maxx's high-contrast display has lusciously saturated colors and impressively dark black levels.

For internal electronics, Motorola has made a very unconventional move with its 2013 smartphone lineup. Instead of engaging in the brutal processor arms race like practically every other handset maker, the company decided to sidestep the issue completely. All the new Droids, including the Droid Maxx, are powered by a proprietary processing solution Motorola calls the X8 Mobile Computing System. The inside X8 is a dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU. Designed to be efficient rather than blazingly fast, the X8's main dual-core application CPU is backed by muscular quad-core Adreno graphics, plus two additional "cores": a natural language processor and one for contextual computing.Helping this hardware is a healthy 2GB allotment of RAM. Also, unlike the Droid Ultra, which has only 16GB of internal memory, the Droid Maxx comes with 32GB to play with. That said, there's no SD card slot for increasing storage.

Another result of Motorola and Google's union is Active Display, a useful feature that all the new Droid phones have. Also integrated into the Moto X, Active Display serves in place of a separate physical notification light. Essentially, the Droid Maxx's screen will flash softly with alerts for incoming e-mail, text messages, and calls. Touching and holding finger on the associated icon in the center of the screen causes the device to display additional information. Pulling the icon upward to the top of the screen wakes up the phone and opens the linked application.

The Droid Maxx also makes use of the X8 computing platform, like the Droid Ultra and Moto X, to perform voice control tricks. Motorola calls the capability Touchless Control, and as its name implies, speaking a magic phrase will cause the Maxx to drop what it's doing and await users vocal commands.

The last and most attractive feature about the battery life of this phone. Having a  high-capacity 3,500mAh battery, the main selling point for the Motorola Droid Maxx is its promised longevity. The phone was able to push through test of video playing benchmark for 15 hours and 50 minutes. While far from the 48 hours of "mixed" use Motorola claims the Maxx is capable of, this showing is well ahead of the Droid Razr Maxx HD (14 hours, 53 minutes) and substantially longer than both the HTC One (9 hours, 37 minutes) and Samsung Galaxy S4 (10 hours, 30 minutes: average).
Indeed, this latest device consistently demonstrated the same ludicrously long run time, well over 14.5 hours playing HD video. It also charged swiftly, reaching full power from zero charge in under an hour. Another nice extra is the Droid Maxx's (and all the new Droids for that matter) support for wireless charging via the Qi standard.

Samsung Galaxy Round

Samsung's upcoming curved display smartphone, the Galaxy Round, is most likely an prototypic device with Samsung producing it in very limited quantities, according to the revealed news from web.

The Samsung Galaxy Round is a prototype model to showcase and having test curved OLED displays. Samsung has priced the device steeply even in its home market, South Korea, for this very reason, and doesn't have a lot of units to sell. This new phone launching plan, much more like Galaxy Grand or Mega which is hardly found in the markets of southside Korea. For its limited availability, may be one's have to bring this phone from South Korean market with country locked and lagnuage compatibility problems. It has been heard that, Samsung doesn't intend to sell the Galaxy Round outside South Korea. As the publication notes, it's not the first time that Samsung has launched devices with limited availability just to test the markets. It had earlier launched the SCH-W850, to test AMOLED technology, and the Samsung Galaxy S II HD, to test HD AMOLED displays.

Samsung curved phone, galaxy Curve, samsung round phone, samsung round

Samsung had launched the Galaxy Round, earlier this month. It much seems like a modification of  Galaxy Note smartphone, with a display that curves side-to-side (horizontally). The phone sports a 5.7-inch OLED full-HD display and is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB RAM. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 2800mAh battery and offers LTE-A high-speed 4G connectivity.

Its key features include a tilt function which allows users to check information such as missed calls and battery life, even when the home screen is off. Users can also scroll through media files by pressing the screen's right or left.

To make an equal racetrack with Samsung, LG, is also reportedly working on a curved display smartphone, which has leaked in press renders and also in web. The press renders suggest that LG 'G Flex' smartphone's 6-inch display would be curved from top to bottom, unlike Samsung Galaxy Round's side-to-side curved display. The phone is likely to be launched probably in November or December, though the pricing, hardware specifications and availability details are not known at this point in time.

Google Nexus 5

Biggest online giant Google is coming with its new Android operating system Kitkat 4.4 into its new smartphone Nexus 5 at the end of October. The Nexus 5 briefly popped up on Google Play before Google's official announcement, leaving no doubt now that Nexus 5 will be its official name, that it will cost $349 unlocked, and that it will at least come in black.

Hopefully, The Nexus 5 should be the first smartphone to run Android 4.4 KitKat, Google's next OS. Google has already formalized the platform, but the details are a complete mystery. What new features are coming with this OS version, is mostly unknown. According to Google, this OS will be top most of all previous android OS's, with extraordinary feature and compatibility.

About other andoird device rather Nexus, Google ensures that their new operating system will be compatible for all other upgradable firmware devices, Mostly the tables. Other smartphone companies have to make their fixed versioned devices upgradable to run with new Android Kitkat 4.4.

Like Nexus 4, Google relies about the manufacturing responsibility to LG.The Nexus 5 should have a 4.96-inch screen, which would make it the largest Nexus smartphone to date. We should look for the same 1,920x1,080-pixel HD display as the G2's, which equals a 444-pixel density.

About the performance, there is no doubt that, it will come with best and optimized hardware performance into the market. But it is assuming that, the Nexus 5 will have  quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU. geared by 2GB of RAM, LTE support, and NFC capability, the handset is expected to employ wireless charging capability and a 2,300mAh battery. Leaked benchmarks results have the Nexus 5 outperforming all other Android devices and rivaling Apple's iPhone 5S

Google Play listed the Nexus 5 price as "starting at $349." Hopefully, this covers the 16GB model, with a 32GB version fetching $399 or more.

Sony Vaio's Flip Notebook.

Sony's new convertible Vaio laptop is now in market. For very first time at PC history, Sony introducing a new and very attractive designed Flip notebook, which is mostly called hybrid combination of laptop and tablet. At this point in PC history, it's almost more surprising to see a new high-profile laptop without some sort of bendy, twist hybrid design than one with it. That's why you won't be shocked to see that Sony's new flagship midsize Vaio is more than simply another slim clamshell.

That notebook which vaio recently released is named Sony Vaio Flip 15, with an attractive cool design with flip compatible and convertible big screen laptop. This just not only add a new design to notebook history but also a cool and exclusive design for laptops. As one might guess from the name of the Flip, the system's transformative abilities come from a screen that, well, flips. The main issue people have with that design is that the keyboard, while deactivated, ends up pointing out from the bottom of the tablet, which can be awkward and uncomfortable.

The Flip solves that particular problem by adding a hinge to the center of the upper lid, forming a horizontal line from left to right. The lid folds back along that line, allowing the screen to tilt back. First, it flips back to form a kiosk mode, with the screen pointing out from the back of the system. Then the lid can be pushed shut to form a slate-style tablet and the keyboard is on the inside.

Lets take look:

The Vaio Flip's price is depends on its screen size. Two available version for screens are 14 inch and 15 inch. The 15 inch Vaio Flip starts from $1199 includes with fourth-gen Intel Core i7 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive. There is also a discrete version which costs $799 with second-gen intel core i3 CPU, and others are same configurations with 14 inch full LED touch screen lid.

The Vaio Flip 15 is a slim 15-inch midsize laptop with a silver brushed-aluminum lid and keyboard tray and black accents. The lid and keyboard tray both extend out from the sides of the base slightly, creating the optical illusion that the system is even thinner than it is. At a hair over five pounds, this isn't a carry-it-around-every-day laptop, but it's fine for occasional trips to the office or coffee shop.
The interior is eye-catching in that it's nearly monochromatic. The same brushed-metal look from the lid extends to the wrist rest and area surrounding the keyboard, which has silver keys against a silver base, and is backlit in white, creating a bright, clean overall look.

The keyboard is similar to Sony's other island-style keyboards, a style the company has been using longer than even Apple. The key size and spacing are excellent, although there's a lot of  space on all sides, meaning that a larger keyboard or a separate number pad could easily be used.
A large touch pad works well, especially in conjunction with the touch screen. Multi Touch gestures, usually a sticking point for Windows laptops, are smooth here, especially the all-important two-finger scroll.
While the Vaio Flip, for its slim design,  having extra software, and solid keyboard and touchpad  works well as a traditional  laptop. You may question, how does it work as a tablet? Well, the "flip" hinge is a worthwhile idea, as it maintains the integrity of the usual form, a key point for any hybrid. If you didn't already know how it works, the folding mechanism might go by unnoticed, and the fine black line bisecting the back of the lid could be misinterpreted as merely a design cool.

With the lid open, you first have to slide a physical switch located just above the keyboard from the "lock" to the "release" position. Slide the switch over, and the lid still stays in place, held by a strong magnet. But give it a firm push from the top, and the lid folds back, flipping over 180 degrees. The center hinge is so minimalist, it hardly looks sturdy enough for aggressive flipping, but in several days of hands-on use, it gave me no problems.
Last of all i am satisfied by reviewing of a cool product like Sony Vaio Flip. If you have a plan to buy a tablet and laptop, i will suggest you to buy this one where your need of both will be fulfilled. This notebook will make me told once again that, Sony is the True Maker. The real desinger of cool and extraordinary tech gadgets.

Apple’s new iPad

The release of Apple’s next-generation iPad and iPad mini tablets is just over two weeks away, according to a new report. Apple always launches its mobile devices shortly after unveiling them and since the company’s iPad event is scheduled to take place on October 22nd, it stands to reason that the new products Apple unveils will launch the following week.
A new report from French blog MacG, which has a decent track record when reporting Apple rumors, suggests that this year’s iPad launch might be a bit different than it has been in years past, but not much. According to the report, Apple’s new full-size iPad and Retina iPad mini will launch later this month on either Wednesday, October 30th or Thursday, October 31st. If true, the launches would still occur the week after the new iPads are unveiled, but almost all of Apple’s prior mobile device releases have taken place on a Friday.
ipad 5 mini, ipad 5

Apple’s fifth-generation full-size iPad is expected to feature a completely new design that better matches the iPad mini’s design identity. It apparently will be thinner and lighter than the current iPad model, but it will still feature a 9.7-inch Retina display. The iPad mini is expected to get a big bump this year as well, with a new faster processor and a high-resolution Retina display. Both devices are expected to be made available in the new space gray color and possibly gold.
In addition to supposed iPad release dates, MacG also claims updated MacBook Pro laptops will launch on either October 24th or October 25th, and it says the new Mac Pro will debut on November 15th.

HP Split X2

After touchsmart the Hewlett Packard company aka HP comes in market with a new designed laptop with touchscreen facility. This innovative laptop named "HP Split X2". According to name its speciality is it can splitted from the main body and the LED part can be used as a Tablet in hand. By including all the technologies of third generation in to this laptop and for attractive design, Split becomes splitting the market of other Notebook and laptop brands and going faster to the topmost level.

HP using a moto to promoting this product which is "A notebook that you need becomes tablet as you want". Its true that, Only HP is the very first maker of joint combination of notebook and tablet. A device you can use for your serious work as notebook, typing all your important documents, making presentation in front of bosses, or doing your graphical, web related works. Just after you busy time, split the screen, lay on your bed and play games with a new tablet. You'r busy machine is just turned in to a fun game machine or entertainment source. It ensures your seamlessly switching between high performance laptop and with an extra like a detachable tablet. Your wish is all about how you use.

HP split, touchsmart, tablet with laptop, Split, touchscreen tablet with laptop.

This cool notebook comes in market with all third generation technologies with high performance booster processors and chips. Having Intel Core i3 3rd generation 3229Y processor with 1.4GHz 3 MB L3 cache and Intel Core i5 3rd generation 3339Y processor with 1.5GHz 3 MB L3 cache inside with built in Intel HD Graphics engine. This machine runs on the speed of 4GB and 8GB DDR3 RAM with expandable slots. The internal storage starts from 500GB to 1TB with upto 128GB SSD spaces. The more SSD, the more your machine operate smoothly. One thing good about HP is, they always concern about the SSD specs. The most interesting and important part of HP is about their product battery life. Their product beats the market only for their coolest designs and battery life. I have an HP Envy and i am using that laptop more than one year without any single stucking problem, without any battery problem, and without any hitting problems. HP Split X2 have 3 slate cell lithium ion battery and 3 base cell lithium battery which storing charge for up to 10 hour. That was amazing.

Other additional specs are some kind of usual. It has no optical drive mounted, usual USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports and a special one USB charging port. The speciality of this port is you can charge your mobile phone via USB data cable even if your notebook is shutted down. The mystery behind is, the ports connectors are directly mounted to laptop battery, so just dont worry about your device charges.

HP split, touchsmart, tablet with laptop, Split, touchscreen tablet with laptop.

Next spec will be about weight dimension and screen size. Well in case of design HP is always unique in my opinion. HP Splits weight is 5 pound with both base and tablet attached, i mean the weight of whole package. The additional weight of tablet part is 2.5 pound. The dimension is 13.38 x 8.5 x 0.44 in (tablet); 13.38 x 9.05 x 0.92 in (tablet and base). With  chrome black and silver metal finish make this laptop looks more attractive. The upper portion of tablet is smooth to hand without any rough feel. Having "Beats Audio" make it one step more incredible, you can't about its output sound quality. With HD integrated webcam and microphone, the communication is just like play for HP Split.

The users of this product are pretty much happy. I personally collected some feedbacks  and its going for positive to HP's vision and market target. Some people talks also about integrating all this specs with 4th generation processors, about higher clock speed and dedicated HD Graphic Engine. One thing true is, HP generally avoid dedicated graphic facility. Maximum of their laptops have low clock speed of processors which is also a drawback. Basically HP focuses all their technique to better and unique design, though they claim about high performance boost. The performance is well and smooth as far i know. Soon HP will come with cool design products with 4th generation technologies. Already they launched a desktop with 4th generation specs.Thats sound's good but tech lovers are much concern and interested about laptops and tablets. Lets see what is next comes with HP.

Sony Smartwatch Review

World famous brand Sony has launched its new wearable gear named "Sony Smartwatch." Gear with gadget is not a new concept now a days but sony make the best difference ever. They made designed custom smartwatch which is compatible with most recent android devices. If any smartphone runs with Ice Cream sandwich 4.0 or higher the smartwatch will be compatible with it.There is an NFC supported chip inside the watch. So any device with NFC compatibility can make a communication channel with the watch and it also used a tracker, synced with the tracking database at smartphone.

As we know that, the NFC compatibility is built inside the smart phones and it does not need to any apps for making file transfer or track, but the smartwatch have some requirement to run with NFC. For using this, first you have to download an apps from play store to both watch and phone so that, both devices database will synchronise at the same time. This smartwatch have the storage capability of 16 GB~32 GB.

Though this smartwatch doesn't have the any speaker to call or listen songs, but there is some versatile features that no gear will ever deliver you. It shows your sms notification, mail notification, tweets or buzzes via a unique icon which is very interesting. You may question how did this happen? Does the smartwatch have any web browser or something?

No, simply it fetches data and notifications popups from your phone. When someone tweets to you, a blue bird will show up in your display and moving its lips. When a mail comes, a icon of letter will blow up, which means you have an incoming mail. Lets see some photos of this smartwatch:
Sony watch, Wearable computing, Wrist computer, Wrist gadget, Coolest watch,

It will pop up when message arrives, when someone gives you mail or a call just missed by you if. Like this usual tech features, it also have some cool points. If you make your morning jogging by wearing this watch into your hand, it will tell you how much calories you just burnt, how long you will run, even with the distances. It says the "Fitness Tracker" feature of this smart gadget. Including this, you can change your songs, rise up/down its volume and in some way you can tune the music qualities too. Totally wifi supported with bluetooth technology, this device will let you take the taste of a new level gadget experience.

This watch's screen is the round edged square shape. Its not so sharp, screen has 220 x 176 resolution spread out over 1.6 inches, which comes out to 176 pixels per inch. The screen is a transflective LCD, so when lighting is good, its display uses contrast from the reflected light, rather than its own backlight. When the lights go down, though, you can easily view the screen by pressing that side button with backlight.

Water resistibility is a principal fact for any watches or you may say wrist gadgets. Like other watches, Sony make this cool stuff water resistant too. It ha IP57 water and dust resistance rating, which means, it can stay under one meter of water for 30 minutes. As we know that, Sony make Xperia devices water resistent, so this watch will be the one of those properties, actually its not a point of headache.
Sony watch, Wearable computing, Wrist computer, Wrist gadget, Coolest watch, Sony Water resistant watch, Sony Gear

About battery life, Sony claims that, it will run with full functionality for 36-72 hour after charging once for full time. After testing, it proves that, Sony's claim is rock solid. You can run it 3 days with any charging problem smoothly. Just don't forget to give it charge after purchasing from the shop. It have a USB charging system, that means you can charge it either from your desktop at home or from laptop while roaming.

The overall package sounds solid enough on paper, but we weren't particularly usual with the experience of using Sony's new watch. If you own an Android phone and are looking for an easy and convenient way to get notifications, then this smartwatch is one of several solid options. Just know that you aren't getting much more than that. You also might want to be prepared to invest in a smarter-looking band than the included rubber one, and prepare your eyes for a very cool looking display. I suggest personally to wear this smart watch instead of any stylish rubber band  which make you look as an style icon.

This cool watch is now available at Europe with 150 Euro with metallic wristband version. Sony haven't announced its release date at US market yet. Its only available at Europe.

Project Eye Tribe

In present days, smartphones, laptops and tablets are the most important and interact gadgets for our daily life. We can't go outside from home without mobile, can't make document without laptop, and also can't pass our leisure without tablets or e-book readers. Everyone is now competing with each others to make gadgets more compact, including all in one like a DVD movie collection or Head & Shoulder shampoo...hehe. Every devices we know about yet is touch compatible. But one more thing is true that, we are thinking about more easier, even we don't want to touch screen or hoping without touching all function will be work like as it touched. Yes, the good news is, our wishes are coming true and this impossible will be done possible by a new technology named "Eye Tribe".
What is Eye Tribe?

Well, its a ultramodern tech which will take the place of touch screen, as touch screen takes the place of keypad or typepad. All functionality will be replaced by a special eye tracking system by which you can give command to your enslaved smartdevice and it will work. The project eye tribe is in beta phase for testing the smart gadgets compatibility. Your eyes movement will be tracked by a special sensor attached a hardware with running software apps just like as your device screen can sense your finger movement.
eye tracking, eye tribe, eye sensor, eye movement,
Already we knew that, Samsung is released its new Galaxy S4 with a eye tracking compatibility move by which you can scroll a page or change and shift menu items. The latest eye tracking technology is coming with game playing, web navigation, editing, and so much more. Imagine you are playing fruit ninja and squashing the juicy fruits by your ninja eye sword. Sounds interesting....right...??

eye fruit ninja, eye soward, eye tacking, eye tribe

Right now the eye tracker is running as an extra device mounted with tablets, laptops, tv's etc. But soon it will come inside as a chip into your smart devices. It will be inside in phone, inside in tv so that you do not need to think about or need any extra product. Beta kits for developers are now sold in $99 only. Tech giants are now developing their devices merged with this technology to make the future run on eye command.

Eid and Puja together at Bangladesh

This is not very usual in Bangladesh to take placing two major religious festival and this unusual phenomena is happening at the end of 2013. Yes, both Eid and Puja will celebrate together at our country.
Bangladesh is my home land. Here almost 80% peoples are Muslim and rest of other religion believers. Usually after Muslims eid festival, Puja or other festivities will celebrate. But with circle of time, at the end of 2013, the second largest Muslim festival "Eid-ul-Adha" and the biggest for Hindu festival "Durga Puja" will celebrate together by all peoples of Bangladesh.

Muslims will celebrate this Eid by sacrificing the animals in the name of Almighty Allah after namaz at morning. This festival have a very old and true told. Once prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was ordered in dream to sacrifice his most favourite and adorable things for the satisfaction of Allah. Ibrahim (A.S) then realized that, his most favorite things is his only son, Hazrat Ismail (A.S). So, according to almighty's order and to make him satisfied, he went to sacrifice his son. That was an test from lord in which Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was passed by his believe and fear on lord. To memorize that phenomena and also as a respect for Ibrahim (A.S), each year Muslims from all over the world will sacrifice their favourite household animals like cows, goats, camels. This is a also counted as a sign that, we can do anything for the satisfaction of our creator, Allah, and for his mercy.

Hindus will also celebrate their Durga Puja with very amusement and Joy. According to Hindu, "Durga" is known as a mother for all living creatures of earth. Each year in a certain time, "Durga" arrived from mountain "Kailash" to earth to destroy the evil that surrounding earth's people and to make the wishes come true of her believers. She also arrived for keeping safe the world from diseases and make world full with grain and fruits. Durga puja actually celebrated for six days, but the last two day's are counted as the main programs with "Kumari Puja" "or "Worship of Virgin" and the victory "Bijoya Dashami". At last day, the hindus visit temple place to give good bye their mother for her return journey to "Kailash" from earth and also request her to come again.

For having both festival at same week, Government of Bangladesh declared 9 days of leave with counting normal weekend leaves...!!!!! This is an awesome opportunity for people to join their relatives, to go their house, enjoy the Eid and Puja together with friends, relatives and family. Here at Dhaka, i have also a chance to visit puja places with also animal hat too. I am Muslim, but i believe in equality of all regional festivals, to get known about other religion is not a sin i guess, but obviously after knowing your own religion properly.

Living together of all Muslims, Hindus, Buddhist, and Christians, believing their own religions and regulations but celebrating festivals all together is responsible for a Happy and Beautiful Bangladesh.
